This pretty stone house has acquired its name from the family of kestrels that nest in the wall every spring. The house is set slightly apart from the others, it sleeps 6 people in comfort and can also accommodate a cot - as can The Byre. The house has been decorated in blues and yellows and is very sunny and welcoming. A spacious ground floor combines the fully equipped kitchen with gas hob and oven, the fridge/freezer, dishwasher and the living area with soft, comfortable furniture. There is also a large fireplace with a wood burning stove, the TV/VCR/DVD and bookshelves. Kestrel also benefits from electric radiators in all rooms for those cooler evenings. New in Kestrel for 2009 is satellite TV for BBC, CNN, SKY etc..
